Amazon founder Jeff Bezos Resigned 'CEO' post

Jeff Bezos, the founder and founder of Amazon for 27 years, has announced that he is stepping down as CEO.

Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos has a net worth of $186 billion and ranks as the second richest person on the earth today.

  Amazon was founded on July 5, 1994.  Jeff Bezos has announced that he will step down as CEO on July 5.

  It is noteworthy that Jeff Bezos started Amazon as a regular bookstore and subsequently developed it to the pinnacle of online commerce.

The Amazon shareholders meeting took place yesterday.  Speaking at the meeting Jeff Bezos said, 'I have chosen the most suitable date for me, the date closest to me.  On that date I resign from the post of Chief Executive.  I am leaving on July 5th when Amazon was launched.

Jeff Bezos announced last February that he was stepping down as Amazon CEO, but did not announce a date.  Newcomer Andy Jose is currently in charge of Amazon's eCommerce services.  Newcomer Andy Jace is set to focus on introducing new products and services from Amazon.

 Jeff Bezos, 57, has a net worth of $ 16.7 billion.  India's value is about Rs 13 lakh crore.
